Session Containers are objects that surround one or more sessions or other session containers. There are five types of session containers:

Creating Session Containers

There are two ways to create a session container: from a single object or multiple objects.

From a single object

  • Select the starting session (or starting container) on the test case tree and right-click.
  • Select the type of session container you want to create.

  • In the new container dialog, select the ending session (or container). The ending object could be the same as the starting.

  • Click Create <object>

From multiple objects

  • Select multiple objects that will all be part of the same container and right-click. All the selected objects must be siblings (i.e., must have the same parent object).

  • Select the type of session container you want to create.
  • The container with the selected sessions (or objects) will be created.

Removing Session Containers

If you want to delete the session container without deleting the child sessions and/or objects:

  • Select Remove Container

To remove multiple containers
