If, during recording, the HTTP/S traffic is not being captured by the StresStimulus recorder, an error dialog will appear.

One of the most common reasons StresStimulus does not capture HTTP/S traffic during recording is a stale certificate.

If this is the issue, click the Reset Certificate button in the above dialog to remove and re-install the StresStimulus (or Fiddler) certificate.

Note:

The following operation may require Administrator privileges.

Clicking the Reset Certificate button will bring up the below question dialog box. Click OK to start the resetting certificate process.

Click Yes when prompted to remove the certificate from the trusted root certificate store.

Click Yes when prompted to add the certificate from the trusted root certificate store.

After this process, the recorder will automatically stop. Start the recording again with a fresh certificate. If that did not fix the issue, the following table will help you further troubleshoot your recording problem.
