During recording, it may be beneficial to add some notes that will be important during the test configuration stage. For example, a test case requires filing a form during recording and parameterizing the inputs for the test playback. When configuring such a test case, it is important to know the inputs during recording so they can be parameterized. The inputs can be stored in the notes during recording and accessed during configuration.
Recording
In the recorder, click the Recording notes button to bring up the Recording Notes dialog.
In the recording notes textbox, type any notes and click Save & Close button to save and close the notes.
Configuration
After the recording is over, to access the recording notes, click the Recording Notes... item in the test case tree.
Recording notes can also be accessed from the main menu > Tools > Recording Notes...
