Current test case

Every test, with at least one test case, has one Current test case. The current test case's tree is displayed in the left pane, where it can be searched, viewed, and edited.

To change the current test case, in the Managing Test Case(s) node in the workflow tree, select a test case and click the Open test case tree for advanced editing in the left pane button.

The current test case has access to the extractor tree, response validators, and parameterization window in the test tree. Also, its name is displayed in the StresStimulus application title bar or the Fiddler title bar when the StresStimulus tab is selected.

Note:

Setting a test case as current does not impact its or any other test case's execution.

Test case in a tab

Another way to edit a test case is to open its tree in another tab. In the Managing Test Case(s) node in the workflow, the tree selects a test case and click the Open test case tree in a new tab button.

This allows editing multiple test cases at the same time.

Deleting a Test Case

Test cases can be removed by selecting them and clicking Delete.

A test should have at least one test case. The last test case cannot be deleted. You can replace it either by re-recording or setting a new Test Case.

Sorting the test case tree

The test cases can either be sorted by name or recording date. To change the sorting criteria, right-click > select Sort by recorded date or Sort by name option
