The following sections pertain to using StresStimulus for continuous testing.
StresStimulus continuous testing options can be accessed from the Continuous Testing node in the Workflow tree.
Starting/scheduling continuous tests
StresStimulus tests can be started from the command line in non-GUI mode (using the noui flag) for continuous testing.
Since this does not require GUI, these tests can be launched at any time on a scheduler (for example, the Windows Task Scheduler).
Emailing results
StresStimulus offers several options to email the test report after the test is over.
A report can be emailed after every test run or only after a test run fails.
Data retention settings
StresStimulus has the ability to delete database data on successful test runs. This would be useful for continuous functional testing to only save a detailed log for system errors.
