In some testing environments, proxy recording is impossible for security reasons, such as changing system proxy settings or trusting the StresStimulus recording certificate.
Starting in StresStimulus v6.0, recording from a browser can be done through a browser extension instead, which doesn't require any environment changes.
Supported browsers:
StresStimulus supports extension browsing for Chromium browsers (like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge) and Firefox.
Extension Recording
In the Browser Recording Settings screen, the Record w/ browser extension checkbox will appear if the selected browser supports extension recording.
Check the checkbox before clicking the Record button to record using the extension.
Note:
The extension must be installed before extension recording. See the below section for installation steps or click the "install extension..." link.
