StresStimulus can automatically parameterize recorded user inputs using new or existing variables. During recording, any values pasted into the application are captured and presented with an option for parameterization.

The following section outlines the steps and options for auto-parameterization.

Configuring auto-parameterization

  1. In the Test Wizard, navigate to the Auto-Parameterization step.
  2. The grid will display a list of values pasted into the script.

    Note:

    The Auto-Parameterize values pasted from the clipboard checkbox must be selected to display pasted values during recording.

  3. Click Add Recorded Value to add another recorded value for parameterization.
  4. Select a variable source for parameterization:
    • New AI Data Generator – Generates a new AI-driven value.
    • Existing Variable – Uses a previously created variable.
  5. Click the ... column to open the AI Generator Picker or Variable Picker.
  6. Click Delete Selected Values to delete selected rows from the grid
  7. Click Save to replace all recorded values with the selected variables.
