Multiple extractors can be configured to use the same occurrence of a dynamic value within each iteration. For example, when extracting name and email fields from JSON records, both extractors can target the same record.

Using Occurrence Expressions

To extract multiple fields from the same iteration or record, define an occurrence expression. This ensures consistent extraction across all matching values:

  1. Create a positive integer variable (e.g., using an integer data generator)
  2. For each extractor, set:
    • Occurrence type: Expression
    • Occurrence expression: Reference the variable from step 1

  3. This synchronizes all extractors to use the same occurrence number.
